Mike Fedryk, President

Mike co-founded Flex in 2008 and has been working with a wide range of clients on their technology recruitment needs, providing a strategic and consultative approach to solving clients' hiring challenges. Prior to his career in the recruitment industry, Mike had progressive roles in Sales, Operations and Technology within the Thomson Publishing Group after which he Managed the Canadian operation for New Balance Athletic Shoes. He then moved into professional services, first with Knowledge Alliance and then with Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions as a VP/Partner.

He brings substantial and complementary business experience to his work, including:

• Private Sector as well as Public Sector client experience

• Sales, Operations, Technology and Human Resources functional expertise

• Corporate as well as Professional Services organizational experience

• Executive/Strategic as well as Operational imperatives

As a result, Mike is well equipped to work with all areas of an organization and understand the complex dependencies within organizations as well as the commonalities that cut through them and help determine common-sense solutions.

Through his early work on major technology projects, including implementation of BI/Reporting tools, enterprise ERP migrations and foundational web technologies, Mike understands the dynamics of major projects and how to work with people and technology to achieve success.

Coupled with deep experience in the technology recruitment space, Mike has the ability to evaluate and align all levels of information and technology people with organizations and projects.

Outside of his professional life, Mike is an avid athlete, musician and sailor, and most importantly a proud husband and father.
